What's It Like, Living Green? Kids Teaching Kids, by the Way They Live Review and Giveaway

Disclosure: I got this product as part of an advertorial.

As a mom of 5 young children who loves organic gardening and living green I was ecstatic to review the book by Jill Ammon Vanderwood, What's It Like, Living Green. This book is a great informative book to help get your kid's involved in green living. I sat down with my kid's and read the book together with them. The book starts out with a fun quiz to see just how "green" you really are! My kids each took their own and had fun with the quiz. We talked about each section and discussed how we could incorporate it in our lives. I love that the book is into sections so you can really focus on one at a time which helps the kid's really get an idea for green living. My kid's favorite section was about the kids saving the rainforest. They have always been intrigued by the rainforest and thought it was great other kids were also into the rainforest. Aside from my children getting so much fun information I also enjoyed the book and learned a few new things myself.

The book is available on Amazon. The book has received a Best Books award winner from USA book news as well as an indie excellence winner book award. The back says ages 9 and up but even my younger ones enjoyed the book and talking about the concepts we learned.  One of my lucky readers can win a copy of the book as well. This is such a great book so I encourage everyone to enter! This is a great read for summer vacation and would be fun to discuss and do what you can to help your kids become green.

I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.
