Taco Tuesdays with Sriracha Blue Diamond Almonds

I have heard a lot about Sriracha sauce but have never actually tried it out myself. I was very interested when Blue Diamond sent me some Sriracha Almonds to try out. Being a newbie to Sriracha I was nervous and excited at the same time.  I wanted to incorporate the new Blue Diamond almonds into a recipe. I decided they would be a perfect addiction to our Taco Tuesday tradition. Taco Tuesday id fun since everyone gets to pick the toppings they want. It rally makes for a great family meal. I chopped the Sriracha almonds up to use as a new topping.
A fun take on Taco night is I use small tortillas and then I add beans(meat for some family members)olives,tomato/salsa,and cheese. I then throw them in a preheated oven at 350 degrees.Picture below before put in the oven.
After a quick 5 minute or so in the oven I take them out to add the lettuce,sour cream if wanted, and the Sriracha almonds.  Above shows the finished product. You can choose what toppings and mixings you use. It is such a great fun meal and everyone is happy since they customize it. I LOVED the added addiction of the Blue Diamond Sriracha almonds. It truly added a bold flavor that you can taste but is not overpowering. It is a definite keep for a topping addition to Taco Tuesday.
